International Dance Day celebrated in Karachi

The International Dance Day was celebrated on Saturday at the Pakistan Arts Council (PAC) Karachi where popular artists and groups performed to enthral the audience.
On this occasion, a video “Kathak Union” was launched on social media by renowned kathak dancer Nighat Chaudhry along with dancers Wahab Shah and Waqar Samrat, to pay tribute to the Samrat Family’s contribution to kathak dance.
Those who performed at the stage were Nighat Chaudhry, Mohsin Babar & Farrukh Darbar (kathak); Wahab Shah & Co. and Mani Chao (Bharatanatyam); Abdul Ghani and Khurram (Fusion); Kaif Ghaznavi, Iram Basheer and Abdul Sattar (semi-classical).
