Mahira Khan wins Best Actress Award for ‘Prince Charming’ at Indian Film Festival

Pakistan’s super star Mahira Khan has bagged the Best Actress Award for a short movie ”Prince Charming” at  the Indus Valley International Film Festival, held recently in Indian capital New Delhi.

She appeared with Zahid Ahmed for the time together in the 12-minute short film, produced and directed by film and tv actor Sheharyar Munawwar last year.

The movie displayed an impressive story relating to post-marital depression in a creative manner.

Responding on getting the award, Mahira said, ”I’m glad that this role touched the audience’s heart. It’s one of the roles which shall stay close to my heart forever.”

”Prince Charming” was Sheharyar’s directorial debut which proved he is not just a good actor but is also a very talented producer and director.
