Nida Dar named ICC Women’s Player of the Month

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has declared Pakistan allrounder Nida Dar as the ‘Women’s Player of the Month’ for October 2022.

Nida claimed the title following her sensational performances during the Women’s Asia Cup held last month, according to the ICC.

The 35-year-old allrounder came out on top, beating India’s Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma,who were the other two nominees for the award.

Nida displayed outstanding allround performances during the Women’s Asia Cup in October, scoring 145 runs in six matches at an average of 72.50, and claiming eight wickets at an average of 14.87.
