World’s highest ‘natural’ cricket stadium opened in Gilgit-Baltistan

The Pissan Cricked Stadium, the world’s highest-altitude ‘natural’ cricket stadium was inaugurated with a two-day local match on Saturday, October 8 in Gilgit-Baltistan, the northern region of Pakistan.

This beautiful stadium has been built in scenic Nagar Valley at a mighty mountain, some 8,500 feet above the sea level. It provides a highly favourable weather for the game in peak summer when the whole country will be facing extreme heat-weather.
